On the eve of the New Year holidays, I want to fill my house with a fairy tale. And without a Christmas tree it's impossible! But decorating it with ordinary Christmas balls is trite and boring. We will need:
- Christmas balls;
- fragments of napkins with drawings (can be replaced with a cloth);
- glue;
- scissors;
- varnish;
- brush;
- decorative ornaments (ribbons, sequins, etc.).
- From tissue or napkins we cut out small rectangles. By the way, the shape of the details can be anything! To simplify yourself further work, it's better to immediately decompose the parts with the same pattern. This part of the job can be trusted and the baby.
- If your New Year toys are made of glass, decoupage can be done only after degreasing the surface, as the quality of the adhesive will deteriorate. Treat the treated surface of the balls with a small amount of glue. Then glue one of the parts prepared in advance. Thin paper napkins can immediately be taken with a brush corner so that they do not stick to your hands. Please note, you only need to apply glue to the area that is equal to the size of the part. - Similarly, cover the whole of the bead with cut out paper or cloth slices. Try not to get glue on the front side of the parts. Wait until everything dries dry, 15-20 minutes will be enough. Top the whole New Year's ball with a clear varnish. If desired, you can sprinkle it with sequins or add them to the varnish before applying. Satin ribbons, tied with a bow, various buttons, beads will also become an excellent decor. Original balls with photos of family members, printed on thin paper, look original.
