Tom Hiddleston could be the new James Bond?

British actor Tom Hiddleston, who participated in the presentation of the biopic "I saw the light" in Los Angeles, is considered one of the potential candidates for the role of 007. This is the star of the film "Korialon", told reporters.

Recall that after the last of the actors who embodied the image of James Bond on the screen, refused to participate in the following parts of the "Bond", around the candidacy of the future Bond there are rumors. Journalists, however, are not sure that Daniel Craig will really no longer try on himself as a supergiant in the service of Her Majesty.

If the film "007: Spectrum" is really the last part with Craig, then who will replace it? Several potential applicants for the role are immediately named: Damian Lewis, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba. You will not believe, bookmakers have even started betting on who will become the new Bond!

Tom Hiddleston: I love James Bond movies since childhood

- I noticed that many fans of my work believe that I could become a new agent 007. I am sure that this role could be a great chance for me to prove myself (if, of course, I will be offered it once). You will not believe it, but I love the Bond stories. In the screen versions of Ian Fleming's novels I like everything: atmosphere, sound tracks, costumes, mythology. Believe it or not, I think that my colleague Mr. Craig is not ready to leave this project. Once, in a distant childhood, on the BBC on Saturdays showed films about Bond, performed by Sir Sean Connery and Roger Moore. Saturday evenings were a real holiday for me. I really loved these films and always begged my parents not to put me to bed too early. On Mondays, my classmates did nothing but discuss the new series of "Bond", "I could not miss it," Mr. Hiddleston told reporters at the premiere "I saw the light."

Well, Tom Hiddleston is a serious enough contender for the role of a spy: he is attractive, sexy, knows how to wield arms and fight, his expensive suits "sit" superbly and he is ... a Briton, which is important.
