Track fixtures

The advent of track luminaires is a new approach to the lighting process. The device is a practical and convenient module that can work independently or as part of the system. Public institutions are the most extensive sphere of using track luminaires, although recently they have been increasingly bought for a house or apartment.

Properties of lighting devices

The appearance of the track is an aluminum or plastic profile. Inside the product there are hidden busbars made of copper, conductive current. Depending on the purpose of the luminaire, the number of tires can be one or three, respectively, they are divided into one or three-phase. The device itself is fixed to the busbar trunking, connecting its contacts with conductive elements. The choice of lamps is quite extensive. On the track set fluorescent lamps, halogen or metal halide, sodium or incandescent lamps.

Mounting the lamp is quite simple. The busbar trunking has special grooves for the adapter and a locking lever, as well as left- or right-hand adapters that connect the electrical supply. Simplicity and speed of installation are the main advantages of the track system. The lighting fixture can be easily replaced or used elsewhere. The capabilities of the device allow you to adjust their number, if necessary grouping into several pieces. Turning the lamp around its axis, you can direct the flow of light to a certain detail of the interior, focusing on it. This feature distinguishes the design from similar electrical products.

In the interior of a modern house or apartment, LED lamps are increasingly being used, whose energy-saving properties are unbeatable compared to incandescent lamps. Their popularity pushed the manufacturers to produce track luminaires. Absolutely safe, not emitting radiation, they instantly form a quality light, working long and reliably. The positive characteristics of the LED track system can be called silent operation, strength, protection from external pollution and choice of shades of light.

Track lights in the interior

The design of the device is a kind of minimalism, which most suits the modern interior. Track black or white lamps are connected fans of minimalism, modernism, loft and high-tech style. It is appropriate to mount systems in rooms with insufficient sunlight, for example in the hallway, or the corridor, especially if the room shape is long and narrow.

Many models are equipped with a dimmer, which allow you to adjust the intensity of the light flux. The device is connected mechanically, automatically or from the control panel. Track luminaires of the same system can be wall and ceiling. The direction of the light from the wall to the ceiling makes the room higher. If the style requires it, the products are built into the ceiling, suspended at a certain height, or a vertical installation method is used. Often designers in the interior design use a variety of configurations of the bus itself. The desired shape is obtained by connecting elements or flexible track-systems.

Owners of private properties have found application to track systems not only indoors, but also beyond its limits. The bushes, trees, garden paths, arbours or part of the main building look spectacular in the evening. The only drawback of the lamp is its high cost, which pays off for a long service life.
