The bedside table is very comfortable furniture, irreplaceable for bedrooms. It's not always possible to buy it, and maybe it's not that. Perhaps, you have mastered hands and an irrepressible desire to create. If, moreover, there are unused pieces of particleboard in the garage or barn, you can make a nightstand with your own hands. How this will happen, we'll tell you now.
How to make a bedside table from the tree with your own hands?
We take unnecessary details from old furniture, which retained their appearance and integrity. Suitable as veneered chipboard, and painted boards.
Cut out 2 side walls, 1 back, bottom and top surfaces and 2 shelves from plywood.
You can make a nightstand of any size. In our case, the height was 65 cm, width - 35 cm.
We connect all the details, making a box. First, drill holes with a drill. To do this, with one hand, attach and hold the side to the horizontal surface and simultaneously make a hole in them.
Screw the screw into the resulting hole with a screwdriver.
Similarly, we connect all the details of the future bedside table.

When the box is ready, we need to align all joints and surfaces with a grinder. To do this, we carefully go through the whole surface of the bedside table.

We plaster all chipped and unevenness with a special composition and a soft spatula.
We will equip our bedside table with a leaving shelf, if necessary, to expand the area of its upper surface. To do this, from the plywood we cut out a rectangle of the right size, so that this shelf freely moved inside and out. It will be held on two rails, nailed under it.

Last we attach approximately one more plywood shelf in the middle.
Decoration of the bedside table by one's own hands
We proceed to painting the nightstand. You can make it any color and design. In our case it will be very bright and non-standard. You can use all the paint available at your fingertips, applying it with wide strokes and chaotic "bloopers."

When the paint dries, take the iron and the edge panel, glue it all the rough ends. So the bedside table will look much tidier, besides it will not risk getting a splinter or making a tightening on clothes or curtains.
And the final stage will be screwing to its bottom wheels, on which it will perfectly move on the floor in your bedroom.
