Ultraviolet Sterilizer

Quite often, the path to an independent business for a woman begins with mastering the profession of a manicurist or a hairdresser. And it does not matter what the first step is - work in the salon or the reception of customers at home - without a special sterilizer for the tool is indispensable. All about ultraviolet sterilizers for manicure tools and hairdressing accessories you can learn from our article.

How does an ultraviolet sterilizer work?

A few words about how the ultraviolet sterilizer works. As is known, the rays of the ultraviolet spectrum destroy destructively the simplest microorganisms and bacteria. Thus, sterilization, or, more precisely, disinfection of the instrument in an ultraviolet sterilizer takes place by means of a lamp emitting light in the ultraviolet range. At the same time, the ultraviolet sterilizer will not have any effect on HIV and hepatitis viruses, therefore other types of devices, for example, quartz balloons, which kill microorganisms and viruses due to exposure to high temperatures, should be used to protect against them.

How to use the ultraviolet sterilizer for tools?

The usage pattern looks something like this:

  1. After the end of work, the instruments must be cleaned of the remnants of hair and skin particles, soak in a disinfectant solution and gently wipe.
  2. Place the instruments in the working chamber of the sterilizer in such a way that ultraviolet radiation has access to the working surface of each of them.
  3. The process of processing the instrument in an ultraviolet sterilizer takes about 10-15 minutes, after which the tools must be turned over by the other side and repeat the processing cycle.
  4. After the tools have been processed on both sides they can be removed or left in the sterilizer for a long time.
