World Civil Aviation Flight Day

People who are far from air travel, the profession of stewardesses is considered some kind of paradise. Constant travel, the change of countries and continents, the opportunity to skimp well, a pension of 45 years - these and other things attract girls. But in addition to benefits, our flight attendants also face negative aspects of the work. They spend a lot of time on their feet, performing errands for the crew and passengers, changing time zones and climate, and overloading, negatively affect health. Therefore, the establishment of the International Civil Aviation Flight Attendant Day is a very important and necessary event. We received an excellent occasion to congratulate the stewardesses and stewards on the holiday every year, to celebrate their professionalism, diligence and caring for passengers with kind words, flowers and gifts.

The history of the flight attendant career

Noting the World Civil Aviation Flight Attendant's Day on July 12, we need to recall how this interesting, though rather complex profession, which already turns out to be the eighth decade, has arisen. At first, when transporting people, they did not care much about the service, because the cabin of the first airliners was not very comfortable. But by 1928 the size of the aircraft had greatly increased, and the load on the co-pilots was so increased that they physically could not pay attention to all passengers.

At first stewards took only representatives of the male, and only in the 30's the girls with medical education were allowed to climb into the sky. Instantly it turned out that this decision greatly influenced the popularization of air flights in a positive way. Cute girls favorably looked at the advertising posters, they quickly managed to cope with fastidious passengers, and they weighed more easily, which was an important factor in the early development of aviation. By the way, the first flight attendants performed very diverse works - they helped with refueling the plane, cleaned the cabin, weighed passengers and luggage, even took part in rolling the liner into the hangar.

Stewards and stewardesses have two important dates - International Flight Day on July 12 and International Civil Aviation Day, which in Russia and other countries celebrate on December 7. If you have to travel these days by plane, then do not forget to congratulate the beautiful ladies and polite men in a beautiful manner, doing everything possible to enhance your safety and comfort during the flight, with a professional holiday.
