Speaking about quality, the European organization means not only the safety of the produced goods for the environment, but also their ability to satisfy the expectations and requests of consumers. The quality problem is one of the most notable problems in the economy of different countries of the world. At present, the quality of products (services) is the key to the successful operation of any enterprise, industry and the country as a whole.

What is "quality"?

The quality of products is determined by international standards. In accordance with the classical definition, "quality" - a set of properties of products that provide the ability to meet the anticipated needs. This definition is based only on the economic and technical nature of quality, so it does not determine the true meaning of this concept for modern man.

Quality is also the competitiveness of each individual producer and the country as a whole. Summarizing the aforesaid, it can be said that quality is a very important concept for developing and highly developed states.

The concept of "quality" in our country

The decision of the issues of product quality in our country is handled by gosotrebnadzor - territorial department for supervision in the field of consumer protection. In addition, the issues related to the quality of products and services are in the competence of specialists in protecting the rights of consumers of local self-government bodies.

The most common issues facing these services include claims to the quality of manufactured goods (clothes, shoes, household appliances, cell phones, etc.). The quality of food products, too, leaves much to be desired. Consumers are often unhappy with meat semi-finished products, sausages, fish, vegetable oil and other products. Speaking about the services provided, the most common are claims to the quality of installation of windows and doors , the production of furniture, etc.

The aim of the state policy dealing with quality issues is to ensure the economic recovery due to the competitiveness of domestic products and services in the domestic and foreign economic markets. For the state also important is the solution of social issues, such as maximum employment of the population, which should lead to an improvement in the quality of life of all citizens of the country.
