The release date of the first episode of the new epic story "The Game of Thrones" was named: July 16, 2017! This day with trepidation await all the fans of the saga, which goes on the channel HBO for 6 years in a row. The channel's management and the producers of the film keep all the details of the plot in the strictest secrecy, but they managed to find out something.
This time the work on the film was conducted in several locations at once, and the shootings were conducted in parallel. Cinematographers were divided into teams of 500-700 people. The places were chosen extremely picturesque: Belfast, Canary Islands, Spain, Iceland and traditionally Croatia (this is where the landscapes of the Royal Harbor are shot).
Special effects in the upcoming season are simply stunning. Producers said that the audience is waiting for a meeting with the "renewed" dragons, Daeneris. They will reach the size of a passenger aircraft DC-9, and this is as much as 50 meters in length! Can you imagine?
The plot with a twist
Journalists can only guess what will be discussed in the new season. As you know, it is not based on George Martin's novel, but on the writer's drafts. The book "Winds of Winter" has not yet been completed and published, and therefore, it is extremely difficult to predict the development of the plot. The author himself stated that his reading will be "harder than ever", and the audience expects the finale, from which literally the frost will run through the skin. The writer nevertheless let slip in one of the conversations with the reporters and noted that in the 7th season the surviving representatives of the Stark family would finally meet.

This summer in the series we will meet with a lot of new faces. But what about the other way around, if there were only a few of the original "members" ... Producers called the popular British musician Ed Sheeran. It turns out that he was long wanted to see in the project, because the performer of the role of Arya Stark is a longtime admirer of the creativity of the two-time Grammy Award winner. The role of Sheeran is not disclosed.
In the "Game of Thrones" there will be a place not only for the musician, but also for the world champion in the mixed martial arts of Conor McGregor. The Irishman will have to play the pirate.
The team of the series will also include Oscar-winning actor Jim Broadbent, whom we know from the Cloud Atlas and Moulin Rouge.
