Bat-Galim beach in Haifa has existed for a long time and managed to get fond of local residents and tourists. At one time the city authorities wanted to place in its place a large entertainment center and even approved the construction project, but the townspeople managed to defend the right to relax on their favorite beach. After several violent protests at the mayor's office, they abandoned their intentions.
The beach of Bat-Galim is never empty. Soft clean sand, all-encompassing infrastructure, warm sea. Here, everyone will choose their own rest. How to get there?
If you travel around the city by private transport, on the east side it is convenient to drive to the beach of Bat-Galim from Alia hachniya street, passing Charles Lotsa Street (near the military base, turn left). The western entrance is also located on Aliya ha-Shniya street. Going from this side, keep the prospect of Bat-Galim, and turn right at the intersection.
It is easy to reach the beach and by public transport. Nearby there is a bus stop (buses No.8, 14, 16, 17, 19, 24, 40, 42, 208). On Saturdays, you can get here only by bus number 40.
