Care for a short-haired chihuahua dog is very simple. It is quite enough to buy a pet with shampoo several times a year. But the long-haired breeds are more demanding. The maintenance and care of chihuahua with long hair suggests periodic combing, several times a month. If you notice that the wool begins to roll down into tangles, get a special brush for combing and shampoo for bathing.
