How to connect a washing machine by yourself?

Finally, your dream came true - a washing machine appeared in the house. Washing now becomes a pleasure! But before this happens, you need to install and connect the washing unit. You can do it yourself, you do not need to invite specialists.

First of all, carefully read the instructions to your washing machine. Unpack it and remove the seals located on the sides of the machine (if any). Then carefully look, whether there are scratches on the machine or any defects, and also check up a complete set. And if everything is in order, you can install the washing machine in a permanent place. For successful operation of the machine it is necessary to connect it to electricity, water supply and sewerage system.

Installing and connecting a washing machine

  1. If you install a typewriter on a smooth tiled floor, then it is necessary to lay a rubber thin mat under it. He will hold the car in place, and prevent it from slipping during operation. From the back of the washing unit, remove all the transport brackets, bolts and bars. Do this by all means, otherwise the drum will be damaged when turning on, and the machine may fail. For transportation, the machine's tank is fixed with bolts. When you unscrew them, insert into the empty holes plastic plugs, which should be included. The legs of the machine must be adjusted, setting it absolutely straight. It is advisable to do this with the help of a level. If the washing machine is not aligned, the machine will vibrate strongly during spinning.
  2. The outlet should be near the washing machine. If the washing unit is installed in the bathroom, it will be better to install an outlet that is designed to work in wet conditions. To connect the machine to the power supply you need a scheme that should be in the original instructions for your purchase.
  3. The next stage of an independent installation of a washing machine is to connect it to a water pipe. First you need to shut off the water in the tap. In accordance with the installation instructions for your washing machine, connect the water inlet hose to its housing. After that, on the pipe with cold water, put a drainage sleeve with a filter-mesh, and then connect the tap. Attach the free end of the filler hose to it. If it turns out to be short, extend it with another hose with an adapter, or even better - buy a new one, a longer one.
  4. Now you can go to the washing machine drain. Sometimes, to simplify the task, the machine is not connected to the sewage system at all. At the same time, the drain hose is connected to the rear panel of the machine, and the other end must be very firmly fixed on the tub or sink, otherwise the hose will fall to the floor under the pressure of water and there will be a "flood" in your bathroom .
  5. The most reliable option is to make the discharge of water stationary. For this purpose, a new siphon with an additional outlet must be installed under the sink, to which a drain hose must be connected. On top of such a connection should be fixed with a rubber band. The drain connection must be firmly fixed to the back of the washing machine.

Check the strength of all joints and joints again. You can turn on the water and open the tap, letting water into the machine. And now it's time to start a trial wash. To do this, select the program that is minimal in time, and select the maximum temperature (this is required to remove residual grease from the machine). Closely monitor the process: is there no leaks, does not "pluck" the electricity of the car body, does not it "jump". And if the installation of the washing machine you had the right, then the washing will be successful.
