How to make a cube of paper?

There are many techniques where paper is used as the main material for work. So, for example, origami is a very ancient and along with this popular technique of folding various figures from paper. You can add anything from simple geometric figures to insects and animals . Of course, it's better to begin with origami with primitive handicrafts. How to make a paper cube: the necessary materials

To create a three-dimensional cube of paper, you will need a paper, preferably a colored one, so that our figure looks fun and unusual. Optimum fit six sheets of paper in different colors, then each face of the future cube will be different. Also prepare the scissors, the origami glue is not needed.

How to collect a cube of paper: a step-by-step instruction

So, let's start making paper crafts:

1. At the very beginning of the work, to make this craft, use scissors to cut out six identical squares from colored paper. To obtain a neat cube, the size of the squares should be approximated to 8x8 cm.
2. Create on the sheet the same folds as in the photo by folding the paper first in half, and then folding the edges of the square to the center. Expand the sheet.
3. Then fold the other edges of the paper exactly to the center, as if forming a door.
4. After wrapping one of the corners of the paper to the center of the workpiece.
5. After that, in the same way, but mirror the second corner. As a result, you should get a figure, like the one in the photo.
6. Now to the central part of the workpiece again wrap the corners of our workpiece: the lower corner move to the right, the top pull to the left.
7. As a result of these manipulations, you should get a rectangular rhombus.
8. Unfold the two corners of the workpiece.
9. We folded them to form two necessary bends, which later will be needed when building a cube with your own hands from paper.
10. In the manner described above, collect five more of the same blanks.
11. When all the blanks of the future cube of paper are ready, you can begin assembling the craft. Both edges of each workpiece need to be inserted under the edges of the adjacent.
