Insulation for frame house

The obvious advantages of carcasses include the speed of erection of walls and their light finish. About a couple of weeks you have a box ready. The construction consists of a so-called skeleton of a bar and OSB-plates. In this way, you get ready walls, which should be filled with a heater. Further it is necessary to conduct additional insulation work both inside and outside the building.

How to insulate a frame house?

Today, experts use three main methods: foam, sawdust and ecowool. Let's consider in detail each of them.

  1. First, let's look at how to insulate a private house with polystyrene foam. This option is the cheapest, it is able to withstand significant mechanical stress, and to do all the work can even beginner in the construction industry. First, all the walls are carefully cleaned, worked with a layer of primer. The primer is a weak adhesive solution, which will make it possible to fix the plates more reliably. Once the walls are ready, you can proceed to gluing the foam. When the glue dries and the plates are securely fixed, they move to an additional fixation. For this, plastic dowels are used. To the end, apply a finishing protective layer. First, the slabs are shpaklyuyut and strengthen the reinforced mesh, and as a finishing coat, apply either decorative plaster or paint.
  2. A good insulation for the frame house is ecowool. It consists of cellulose, so you can avoid rotting, mold and other delights in the process of exploitation. Ecowool absorbs sound well from the outside. There are two ways to work with this material: dry and wet with the use of adhesive compounds. The dry method is used during the construction phase. In the frame, make holes and blow out cotton wool. It is important to keep a close eye on the density of the blowing, otherwise the wadding will shrink. In the second case, the adhesive composition is used, and the insulation layer is somewhat thinner. Warming ecowool will have to be entrusted only to professionals.
  3. The oldest and rarely used insulation for the frame house is sawdust. The method is cheap, but it is necessary to work with sawdust very carefully, not forgetting about fire safety. A special compound is prepared from cement, sawdust and lime. These filings with impregnating fill the walls during construction. You can use sawdust as a plaster, if we heat a ready-made carcasser. From sawdust, clay, cement make a thick composition, then pour it into molds and prepare plates. Warming the private house with these slabs is exactly the same as foam.

How to insulate the walls of the house from the inside?

In principle, what kind of insulation you choose to choose for a house, this one can be used for interior decoration. If it is a foam plastic, then everything happens quite the same as for outdoor works. Walls are cleaned, primed and glued plates. As a rule, further all sew up with plasterboard and already from above put a finishing layer from plaster, wall-paper or paint. But it is worth considering that this method will eat a lot of area, so that it is resorted to in extreme cases.

More often inside, the walls are warmed with an eco-wet method. A wet mixture of glue and cellulose is simply sprayed onto the prepared walls and allowed to dry. Then close the insulation layer and decorate the wall.

The sawdust can also be used to insulate the frame house both from the outside and from the inside. Plates of cement, clay and sawdust are fixed on the walls, then they are lined up. But remember that cement will begin to draw in moisture, and sawdust burns perfectly. So all areas with rosettes should be coated with non-combustible material, and on top of the plates put a vapor barrier. Then the insulation will be effective and safe.
