Katy Perry traveled to Vietnam with a charity mission

The famous 31-year-old singer Katy Perry today returned from Vietnam. 5 days ago she went there as a goodwill ambassador with the mission of UNICEF. The singer, who has been working with this organization since 2013, has already visited different countries where UNICEF assistance is needed.

Cathy talked with locals

During the trip, Cathy made an extensive tour of Vietnam. She was shown not only the sights, which are huge in this country, but also the poorest and most remote areas. They are home to a lot of families in need of help. With one of these families, Perry spoke after visiting their house, and then distributed humanitarian aid and medicines.

"When I saw this family, I was shocked. It's just a heartbreaking story. In this house there lives a grandmother with 4 small children. Her daughter died, and there is no one else to help us. The family is not only very poor, but also lives in an area where there is no hospital or school. One of the children, the five-year-old boy Lynch, is very exhausted. He urgently needs help. If we had not arrived, I'm afraid the life of this child would soon be cut short. Lynch is one of the millions of children in Vietnam who need help urgently. In my opinion this is now the most important thing that we should think about "
- Katie told after the work done.

In addition, Perry visited one of the local schools, in which she spoke with children and employees. To the great surprise of others, when Katie saw the kids, she began to behave like a clowness, showing all sorts of faces and trying to joke. This behavior greatly amused children, which later positively affected their communication.
