Large flowerpots

Today the market has a huge variety of pots and flowerpots, both for indoor plants and for street decorative compositions. They differ in decor, form, purpose, size and material from which they are made.

Most plants are low-medium pots. But for large breeds, ornamental trees or plants with a long and wide root system, large pots are needed. Wide containers are suitable for plants with a three-dimensional crown. Large pots for flowers are used to decorate yards and gardens, they usually plant garden petunias and violas.

Types of pots

Large flowerpots are mainly made of plastic or strong ceramics. They have one or more drainage holes, this is what distinguishes a flower pot from a plant pot. So, these pots are distinguished:

  1. A large ceramic pot for flowers - it has thick walls and a bottom, is made of coarse clay, so it is quite heavy even without soil. Clay flower pots are used mainly for decorating a garden or a small plot. It can be installed in front of the porch and planted in it a large and fairly tall plant. Due to its weight, the design will be sustainable. In ceramic pots it is better to plant plants that love frequent watering, since moisture evaporates quickly from them.
  2. More democratic in price and more convenient to use plastic large pots for flowers, varied in form. They are suitable for indoor floor plants, because, unlike clay pots, they are easier to move around on the floor. Floor pots for flowers, large and wide, are suitable for branched small shrubs or for medium sized bonsai. Large plants not only comfortably have roots in this pot, but are also quite stable, which is especially convenient when placed on the street.

Large pots for flowers, street or room before planting them in plants must be disinfected in a light manganese solution and installed on special pallets that come complete with a pot to collect excess moisture.
