Kitsch, probably the most special and unusual interior style. He not only refuses to follow any rules, he refuses to follow even the elementary ideas of beauty. The essence of design in the style of kitsch is just to move away from all standards and to strike on the spot with unexpected combinations and elements.
When kitsch is created by a professional designer, it goes on a fine line between originality and absurdity. However, more often still kitsch in the interior affectionately called a complete bad taste.
When are you referring to this style?
As a rule, very wealthy people turn to kitsch-style interiors. Sometimes this is the result of the fact that they make out not the first house or apartment, and they want something of that sort, nothing like that. Much less successful design options in this style happen when the owners have a little perverted sense of beauty and try to fit in one room everything they have ever liked. Either they are just too addicted to using one of the styles, eventually using it completely wrong.
However, this does not mean that this style is absolutely useless and has no right to exist. Beautifully and wisely made interior kitsch worthy of being among the museum exhibits - so rarely it can be found. And yet, if you are confident in your abilities and you have a great desire to create a unique, one hundred percent unique interior, you should not throw this thought aside.
The main ingredient needed to create an interior in this style is an easy "crazy" idea, a little crazy idea that will unite all the objects in the room and fill the event with a certain meaning, even if it is only for you. And then, what the hell is not joking ?! Maybe one day your interior is recognized as delightfully beautiful, on the verge of genius.
