Also mango helps to relieve nervous tension, overcome stress and increase sexual activity. But that the body could feel all these useful qualities of mango in its entirety, you need to know how to choose the right ripe fruit.

How to choose the right mango?

When choosing a mango, you do not need to focus on the color or shape of the fruit, because the varieties of this fruit are very diverse. Some differ in the round shape of the fetus, in others the fetus is ovoid in shape. The coloring is still more complicated, it varies from green-yellow to dark-red (almost black) with bright yellow spots. So if you get a yellow-green fruit, do not think that it's unripe, maybe it's just sort of that.

So how to choose the right ripe mango? First of all, pay attention to the peel, but not on its color, but on the condition. The rind of ripe and fresh fruit will be shiny. And of course, there should not be any dark spots, scratches and other defects on it. If the skin is badly stretched, flabby, then the fruit was waiting for your appearance for too long, such a mango will not please you with its taste. Selecting the fruit with a shiny even skin, lightly press it with your fingers. If the skin under your fingers does not stick, then this fruit is not mature, it is better to put it in place and continue the choice further. If the peel with pressure is easily crumpled, but not in a hurry to restore its original appearance, then this fruit is also not a place in your basket, since it is overripe. But when you see that the mango skin under your fingers sprung up (it was dented, but almost immediately returned to its original position), you can breathe a sigh of relief - the goal is achieved, an ideally ripe fruit is chosen. Ripe mango can also be distinguished by its light astringent odor. If the smell gives alcohol or sour, then the fruit is exactly ripe - it began the process of fermentation. But the smell of turpentine, emanating from the fruit should not be frightened. This smell is normal for all varieties of mango, only expressed in all different ways. Some sorts have a pronounced turpentine smell, and some (usually these are the best cultivated varieties) this specific aroma is barely noticeable. To sniff it was easier, the fruit should be slightly pressed and put to the nose of the place where the stalk was.

How to store mangoes?

Mangoes are well preserved at room temperature. So they can be kept for up to 5 days. If there is a need to preserve the fruit for a longer period, they should be placed in a cool place, with a temperature of 10 ° C, for example, in a refrigerator. There fruits can be stored for up to three weeks.

What to do if you are "lucky" to buy an unripe mango fruit. You can, of course, choke on, and eat it that way, and you can wait a little and eat ripe food. You decide, but if you decide to still eat a ripe fruit, then it should be left for a couple of days at room temperature on a window sill or fruit vase. Some advise to wrap mango in soft paper, but you can not do it, the fruit will still ripen. Usually a ripe mango becomes after 2-3 days of staying at home, but can sing even longer. Once the fruit becomes soft, it can be eaten.
