Due to this effect, there is no need to remove the hangover by taking small doses of alcohol, which excludes the occurrence of a drinking-bout.
The extract of the koprinus contains disulfiram - a substance that causes mild poisoning and an intestinal disorder with concomitant use with alcoholic beverages. Because of this, Koprinol provokes a refusal of alcohol, since a person has a temporary aversion to strong drinks because of unpleasant sensations and consequences.
