  1. This institution is located in an ancient building, which was built in 1592 and was used as a monastery of San Diego de Alcalá. In 1730, the left wing was destroyed, and since 1731 there was a San Francisco barracks.
  2. The structure was erected on a stone foundation of unbaked bricks, the bearing walls and ceilings were made of wood, and the roof was covered with clay tiles. The building has long corridors, decorated with arched ceilings, which are supported by wooden columns.
  3. Since 1828, the military base of the revolutionaries was housed in the building, and a little later there was a military school, a printing house, military headquarters and even the National University.
