The interactive training center of Chiminix is located 7 km south of the center of the capital of Honduras - Tegucigalpa .
History of Chiminican
The idea to create Chimininke - the Interactive Educational Center - was born in connection with the need to focus on the development of education, culture and social programs for the population, mainly those who can not afford to study in universities and gymnasiums because of poverty. At the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, it turned out that more than half of Hondurans do not have sufficient knowledge for modern life and do not have the opportunity to raise the level of education of their children. For them, the Chimininke Center was created, which is both a museum and a multifaceted training center.
What is interesting about the center of Chiminique?
First of all, it is worth noting that the interactive learning environment develops not only basic educational skills, but also fosters children's curiosity, increases self-esteem, teaches children how to interact with each other and at the same time allows one to show their individuality. The training center of Chiminix is a complex consisting of several multimedia halls with displays and multifunctional devices, and also includes a zone for recreation and outdoor games.
In 4 exhibition halls you can get acquainted with the most important aspects in our life:
- Hall 1. Introduction to the device of the human body. They will tell you about DNA, the peculiarities of the musculoskeletal structure and the functioning of the human body systems, about diseases, hygiene and health.
- Hall 2. It will help children to get acquainted with the surrounding world and establishments in it - a bank, supermarket, television, radio station, etc.
- Hall 3. In this room, we will talk about Honduras, its history, its culture and heritage.
- Hall 4. Dedicated to the environment and the environment. Here you will talk about the impact of deforestation, the construction of infrastructure facilities on the atmosphere and people's lives, why it is dangerous to build houses close to a river, etc.
How to get there?
The interactive educational center of Chiminix is located in the capital of Honduras, where there are no direct flights from Russia. Flight there is possible only with one or two transplants. If you fly with one transfer, then the joint will be in Miami, Houston, New York or Atlanta. Another option involves first stopping in Europe (Madrid, Paris or Amsterdam), then a flight to Miami or Houston and from there to Tegucigalpa.
In Tegucigalpa, you can take a taxi or public transport to get to Chiminix. The center is just 4 minutes drive from Toncontina , the country's main airport.
