Plum "Hungarian Belarusian"

Plum Wengerk, or more familiar to us its name - Ugorka, has a lot of subspecies, bred by breeders, among which are the Belarusian, Donetsk, Italian, Moscow and so on. All of them are united by the fact that they bear fruit egg-shaped in shape with plums with a dark purple skin and a smoky touch.

Some history of origin of the variety

It is believed that the birthplace of the plum "Hungarian Ordinary" is Asia, from where it was brought to Europe. On the territory of the former USSR plum came from Hungary, and therefore received the name.

Later, the Hungarian or Ugronka began to call many kinds of plums, having prolate fruits of blue or red color with a well-separated bone. In the process of cultivation of Wengerka, different species were obtained.

The pulp of the plums is soft and juicy, orange, the berries are easily cut into halves. The taste is sweet with a slight sourness. By the way, it is precisely from Hungariks that the beloved prune is prepared by everyone thanks to the optimal content of sugar and pectin in berries, which allows such processing.

Plum "Hungarian Belarusian" is a medium-hardy winter - hardy variety with fairly large berries, reaching 40 grams each. Plum yield reaches 20 t / ha when planted according to the 5x3 scheme. The harvest time is at the end of August and the beginning of September.

A variety was obtained after crossing the varieties "Stanley" and "Delicate". The tree is medium-sized, with a spreading and medium-thick crown. Fruiting begins on the 3rd year after disembarkation. Basically fructification occurs on bouquet branches.

The sort of plum "Hungarian Belarussian" is partially self-fertilized, its pollinators are the plum sorts "Croman", "Perdrigon", "Blufri" and "Victoria". The tree is resistant to the clasterosporium. The berries well tolerate transportation and are stored for a long time.
