Semi-permanent mascara

What does any woman know ink, but not always the daily application and removal of make-up is convenient, besides, not all of nature have eyelashes that I would like to see. And then in the course is painting, eyelash extension and other means.

One of the relatively new means, representing a successful compromise between staining and build-up, is semipermanent mascara.

What is semi-permanent mascara?

The main advantage of a semi-permanent carcass is its stamina. The term, which such ink keeps on eyelashes, in various advertisements promise the most different: from two to six weeks. But, as a rule, without loss of appearance, firmness is limited to three weeks. The composition includes coloring pigment, microvilli and special glue. The latter should not be confused with the glue used to build up the eyelashes, since it is usually a means for bonding wounds and microcracks used in medicine.

Semi-permanent mascara can be of two types: single-phase and three-phase. The first gives a more natural effect. When using the second, more volume is achieved, but the eyelashes are more rigid, the visual effect is closer to the build-up than to the usual staining.

Application of semi-permanent mascara

In general, staining eyelashes with semi-permanent mascara is very close to using mascara as usual, but it takes up to 30-40 minutes of time and a number of preparatory procedures are carried out in which the usual mascara is not necessary. To date, the coating of eyelashes with semi-permanent ink is usually performed in beauty salons, as it dries very quickly and you need to separate eyelashes with special tweezers so that they do not stick together. Therefore, without assistance, the result may be far from desired.

Apply this mascara in several stages, on previously cleaned from other cosmetics eyelashes.

  1. Under the lower eyelid, special halogen pads are applied to separate the upper and lower eyelids. They also protect the skin under the eyes.
  2. On the upper eyelashes, a primer (degreaser) is applied with a special brush.
  3. Scrolling movements, using a brush, comb your eyelashes.
  4. Apply mascara to the inside of the eyelashes, from the roots to the tips, as quickly as possible, so that the ink does not have time to dry.
  5. Separate eyelashes with tweezers.
  6. Apply mascara to the outer surface of the eyelashes and also share with tweezers.
  7. Wait 2-3 minutes for the mascara to dry properly, after which repeat the procedure if necessary, applying a second layer of carcass.

After finishing the dyeing of the upper lashes, the lower lashes are painted in the same way.

Rules for the use of semipermanent carcasses

  1. Do not touch the eyes for the first two hours after the procedure.
  2. Avoid getting water, steam and mechanical effects on the eyelashes first day after the procedure.
  3. Do not apply ordinary mascara over semipermanent and do not use eyelash curler. To obtain beautifully twirled eyelashes, you can combine semi-permanent mascara and biocoal, but the latter should be done before applying the mascara.
  4. Use only non-fat cosmetics. Contact with oils contributes to the destruction of the semipermanent carcass.
  5. To remove the semi-permanent carcass, it is also better to go to the salon, as it can not be removed with conventional means to remove make-up, and eyelashes can be damaged. To remove this carcass you need a special remedy.

To date, such brands of semi-permanent carcasses as MYscara, Adele Sutton, Lovely are common. All of them are positioned as hypoallergenic , but before applying it is still worth checking the reaction of the skin.
