Samarinsky Gorge in the White Mountains - a trail of 18 kilometers in length, characterized by landscapes of incredible beauty. Passing between two steep cliffs along a cold mountain stream, one can not only enjoy the beauty, but also try to see the famous goats of the Cre-Cree who live in this area. However, especially hope for a meeting with a goat is not worth it, because even in the guidebooks it is indicated that to see it is a rarity and a great success.

If you like Greece, Crete, the sights can be viewed at any time of the year, but there is one interesting fact, coming in April. The city of Chania, known for its age exceeds the age of Rome, will appeal to those who appreciate romance and comfort. According to the legend of 19.04.1821, in the battle for the fortress of Francokastello, the attacking Turks killed one hundred Cretan riders, whose ghosts can be seen on that day at dawn, leaving to the sky. Once a year, tourists flock to the walls of the fortress, once a military facility, and now completely empty to watch an amazing phenomenon. No one can reliably state whether it is ghosts or an illusion created by the clouds, but many tourists who visited the fortress in mid-April claimed to have seen ghost-riders going into the sky.

Choosing that to look at Crete, give preference to the city of Rethymnon with its narrow streets, lively bazaars, a well-developed tourism industry. In Rethymnon Fortezza fortress is located, also empty inside, but considered a local landmark and worthy of attention. The impression is made also by the route between Chania and Rethymnon, stretching along the coastline, harbor towns and transparency of bright blue sea water.

Considering where to go to Crete, be sure to include in the list the beach of Elafonisi, famous for its pink sand and the fact that it is in this place that three seas meet: the Libyan, Aegean and Ionian. The peculiarity of this natural phenomenon is that the water in one of them is warm, the other is very cold, and in the third you will see only shallow water. From the shore of Elafonisi separates the narrow strait, which you can even go on foot in shallow water. As a rule, on the way tourists visit the cave church of Hagia Sophia, as well as the monastery of Chrysoscalitis. On the way to the monastery there are 90 steps, one of which is golden, but visible only to the true righteous.
