The clinical picture of the course of the pathology corresponds to the damaging agent, therefore the signs and symptoms of gastritis in this case are very diverse:
- loss of appetite;
- severity, moderate pain in the stomach;
- a feeling of unpleasant taste on the tongue;
- nausea;
- salivation;
- frequent belching of the air;
- abundant vomiting with a sharp smell, impurities of undigested food, bile and mucus.
Over time, these phenomena increase, they are added:
- weakness;
- headache;
- bloating and rumbling of the abdomen;
- increased body temperature;
- dizziness;
- multiple diarrhea;
- dehydration;
- pallor and dryness of the skin;
- bright coating on the tongue;
- chills.
Symptoms of chronic gastritis
Quite often the slow or latent form of the disease is generally asymptomatic, which greatly complicates the correct and timely diagnosis.
In other cases, the clinical picture of a chronic illness completely corresponds to the acid-forming function of the stomach. The subsequent treatment of the disease is also developed taking into account this factor.
Signs of gastritis with increased and normal acidity of the secretion of the stomach:
- moderate and mild "hungry" pain, usually in the mornings, at night, on an empty stomach;
- heartburn;
- development of esophagitis of the esophagus;
- nausea;
- belching with air or sour;
- periodic occurrence of constipation.
