Species of shepherds

Sheepdogs are a huge group of dog breeds. Mostly they serve in guard, shepherd and search services. Long ago these animals protected sheep, lived in mountains and plains, suffered hot heat and cold winters, slept in open space, ran in dense grass and on slippery ice. Not all species of breeds of sheep-dogs have retained their original appearance, but absolutely all of them remained real sheep-dogs.

Virtually all varieties of sheep dogs are divided into specific species that group dogs according to certain standards and types. We are accustomed to associate the sheepdog with a large black and brown specimen, which we call German. But today there are more than forty varieties of sheep dogs. Today we will talk about the frequently encountered breeds.
