The first category has collected all passive multistage versions of a stationary water filter. This class is most widely represented on the market. Usually this step-by-step cleaning is first with a mechanical cleaning cartridge, then with an ion-exchange cartridge, and then there is a fine cleaning. Of course, after passing such a path, the water in your glass is really clean and safe. However, there is one unpleasant feature: the cartridge will delay not only impurities, but also bacteria. It is difficult to say when this bomb detonates, because it is the timely replacement of the cartridge, the main difficulty of the process: they did not have time to replace it - they got water that was dangerous for life. If you decide to buy this type of cleaning, feel free to change cartridges twice as often as recommended.

Most of all disputes and myths are centered around stationary water filters in the kitchen with reverse osmosis. Due to the fact that only molecules of water can penetrate through the membrane, at the output we get water, which can be called distilled . Sifted debris and microbes go to the sewer. It would seem that the answer to the question, which type is better among stationary filters for water purification, in this case is obvious. But not everything is so simple: along with rubbish and bacteria, all salts have been removed from the water. On the one hand, we are not recommended to drink such almost dead water. On the other hand, the main quantity of salts and minerals we get from food, and only 10% of water.

The most expensive category is a stationary water filter with active cleaning. Here you get disinfection of water with UV radiation, then complete mechanical cleaning and even some modification of the composition. But the obstacle in the purchase of this type of stationary filters for water treatment remains its high cost.
