Sybiloy National Park

The most valuable fossil exhibits found on the territory of the national park were transferred to the museum of anthropology of the capital of Kenya - the city ​​of Nairobi .

The climate of Kenya is hot and arid, this fact has affected the wildlife of the Sibyloy National Park, which is represented by large inhabitants: zebras, different species of antelopes, giraffes, Grant ghazals, hippos, leopards, jackals, camels, striped hyenas. Among the birds, the most common are ducks, pelicans, flamingos. The waters of Lake Turkana are inhabited by Nile crocodiles.

The park's flora is scanty and typical for the semi-desert zone, where precipitation does not fall for two, and sometimes even three, years. Sometimes near the lake there are thickets of komifora plants. The National Park of Sibilia is distinguished by its unique natural structure, thanks to which, since 1997, it has been protected by UNESCO.

To do this, you need to rent a boat and pay for the services of the conductor, which will take you to the central entrance of the park.
