Tank from matchboxes

It's nice to receive gifts, but to receive gifts made with your own hands is a pleasure twice. There is not a single pope, grandfather or big brother who would not be happy, having received a tank for the Defender of the Fatherland, even if it is from matchboxes. It's not at all difficult to make a hand-crafted tank from a matchbox, as you can see by examining our master class.

To create a tank we will need:

Manufacture:

  1. Wrap matchboxes in colored paper on the principle of chocolates: one box separately, and two others - pre-glued them with long sides. We paste the wrapped boxes - on top one, and glued together - at the bottom. In order for the boxes to be carefully wrapped in paper, it is better to draw a pattern on paper beforehand, circling the outline of all sides with a box from the wrong side of the paper and adding an allowance the size of a centimeter.
  2. We will glue the buttons of the tank down the bottom of the tank. If you do not have suitable buttons for size, you can cut out circles of the required diameter from paper or cardboard.
  3. From the lid of the plastic bottle and chopsticks from chupa-chups we'll make a tower. To do this, we make a hole in the lid with a warmed awl and insert a stick there. We'll attach the tower to the tank.
  4. Let's make caterpillars. To do this, cut out thin paper or thick paper of black color, thin strips and fold their accordion. Slightly straightened our "caterpillars" and glued them to the tank.

Our tank of matchboxes is ready to participate in children's battles!
