Some married couples consider that it is necessary to get a second baby when the first one goes to school, others want the weather, the third replenishment in the family happens in spite of any planning. In any case, parents always want to create the most comfortable and pleasant conditions for their children.

In our time, not every young family can boast of its own private house or a large spacious apartment. The housing issue, according to statistics, is solved in less than a third of families. Therefore, when a second child appears, most families face the problem of how to equip a children's room for two children.

Advantages of a children's room for two children

Children aged 3 to 6 years, as a rule, show a great desire to live in one room. This is due to the fact that the kids are interesting to each other, even if there are conflicts between them. Children, as a rule, need not in isolation, but in a team. Support for a brother or sister is a necessary link in the full and harmonious development of the child. Therefore, it makes no sense for parents to settle children in different rooms, even if there is such an opportunity. If the apartment has two spare rooms, in which you can accommodate children, it is better to make one of them a bedroom, and the other - a game room.

A common children's room for two children of different sex is possible only up to 10-11 years. After this, the brother and sister will need to resettle or partition their room into two separate areas. Therefore, it is important to give children the opportunity to spend their childhood together, in one room. The children's room for two children of different sexes allows to rally the brother and sister, makes them more sensitive to each other and responsible.

Children's room for two boys

If the brothers do not differ in age by more than 3 years, the eldest son will soon forget, as he lived alone in his room. At first, naturally, the older child will express his displeasure, over the fact that he is no longer the owner of the room. But eventually the son will get used to the new order of things.

If the age difference in children is significant, the dislike of the older child will be stronger. In this case, parents should talk with the elder and convince him that he is older and wiser, that he should take care of the younger, and now his room will become a nursery for two boys. There are often cases when the eldest son becomes a real authority and an example of imitation for the younger.

Children's room for two girls

In the case of girls, the situation is similar. With a small age difference, girls very quickly become close friends and do not even represent their lives in different rooms. Therefore, the best solution will be a children's room for two girls.

With a large age difference, an older child often feels restrained. If the eldest daughter has already reached the age of transition, then she sometimes has a desire to be alone. In this case, the younger sister only hinders her.

Parents of children with a large age difference should consider the needs of each child. It is important not to make an older child a nanny for a younger child against his will. This can cause dislike between children.

Living two or three children in one room teaches them to get along with each other and solve conflicts without the intervention of adults. Children sleeping in one room are much less likely to be tortured by nightmares, they become more independent.

Joint living allows solving many problems related to the upbringing of children. And the children, in turn, find their closest friend for life!
