The artist for 3 years copied the Qur'an on silk with gold ink!

Even if you consider yourself a convinced atheist, what you see will strike your soul, heart and imagination - the artist from Azerbaijan 3 years rewrote the Quran with gold ink on silk!

Incredibly, Thunzale Memmadzade, 33, actually devoted three years of her life to the most intimate - she "carried" the holy book of Muslims to silk pages with gold and silver ink!

The artist started this painstaking and responsible work only after she was convinced that until this time the sacred book had not yet been written or printed on this material. And as even in the law itself there are references to silk, to make this step for her was especially important and exciting.

The main source from which Tunzale rewrote the text of the sacred book was a copy issued for the Turkish representation of religious affairs.

In total, the silk Koran in the artist took 50 meters of transparent black silk, divided into pages measuring 29 by 33 cm, and a half liter of gold and silver ink!

Today, this masterpiece of written art has expanded the collection of 60 manuscripts of Islamic art presented at the exhibition of the Smithsonian Museum (USA) and will stay there as the most stunning and spectacular exhibit. And we can consider it right now!
