The "School Card" project was launched in Russia in 2010. In short, it can be described as a system of innovative technologies that makes it easier to communicate between school, pupils and parents, and also to monitor children for safety.
The introduction of electronic charts and accompanying accounting systems into the circulation caused rather contradictory reactions on the part of both pedagogical staff and parents. On the one hand, they allow you to monitor the child's visits, the turnover of the money spent by parents for food and school needs, academic performance. But on the other hand, situations where parents receive SMS messages about the movements of the child and so on, remind some pictures of fantastic utopias and frighten their totality. And certainly not happy with the emergence of e-school card students - to hide from their parents something is not possible. Golden times, when it was possible to tear out pages from diaries, have sunk into oblivion.

- School food card. Through payment terminals installed in school canteens and buffets, a child can pay for dinners, and the parent will receive an account of what the child has purchased. Thus, parents can be sure that the schoolchild has eaten fully, and not spent money on chewing gum, chips and other harmful food.
- Electronic diary. Thanks to the school map, the teacher can present assessments directly to the student at the lesson, which are duplicated in the student's personal section on the school's website. Access to it students and parents can only get if you have an Internet connection. Homework is recorded in the same way, communication with teachers is carried out.
- Digital library. The use of maps will greatly facilitate the work of librarians, since it will allow to systematize the accounting of books, textbooks and debts on them.
- Electronic medical document - simplifies the process of maintaining records: a list of medications, contraindications to the child,
inoculation calendar .
In the future, if desired, the card can be integrated with the school transport card, through which students pay for travel on public transport. The system is also simple - first they will be replenished, then the expenditure of funds is carried out, which can always be checked.
Undoubtedly, to the widespread introduction of the school card system is still very far, since this process requires not only moral readiness of the parties, but also significant financial costs.
