Schools often hold different exhibitions of crafts and bouquets made by children. Especially fascinating and interesting is the autumn exhibition, which exhibits artifacts and compositions from autumn gifts of nature: vegetables , fruits, flowers and leaves . For boys it is very interesting to design from this all different techniques and little men, and for girls bouquets or some compositions, most often with flowers.
In the article we will consider the manufacture of crafts "Ship" and "Boat" from a vegetable such as zucchini, because its shape is well suited for this because of its dense peel.
Master-class: craft work from the tavern "Ship"
You will need:
- zucchini large size;
- several large whole cabbage leaves;
- two or three carrots (one thin, but two thicker);
- matches, toothpicks and long wooden skewers;
- a knife, a spoon.
Sequencing:
- We take an unclean zucchini and cut it along so that one cut piece is 1/3, and the second - 2/3 of it.
- We take the most part (which is equal to 2/3) of the zucchini and from one end to 1/3 of the length we leave the raised deck, and in the rest part we make a deepening, carefully cutting off the flesh with a knife or spoon.
- From one brushed and cut carrots we cut out the anchor, two flags, and the second brushed carrot we cut into circles, which we will use as portholes and for manufacturing the steering wheel.
- From the skins of the remaining part of the courgette, we cut out two stairs, the length of which should be equal to the height between the decks, and from one large mug of carrots, with the help of sliced long skewers, we make the wheel.
- On the edge of the raised deck, cut through the windows, install with the help of toothpicks made stairs and steering wheel.
- With the help of toothpicks on the left and right side we fasten three portholes and an anchor. On the upper edge of the sides you can insert to decorate matches with heads.
- Carefully cut the leaves of cabbage to the desired size and with the help of long skewers attach our sails, decorating the masts with carrot flags. Sails can also be made from any colored paper. The bow of the ship, making a through hole, is decorated with a whole thin carrot.

How to make a craft "Boat" from a vegetable marrow?
You will need:
- courgette of medium size;
- knife, spoon.
- As for making a ship, we cut the vegetable marrow into two parts: bigger and smaller.
- Using a knife and a spoon, remove the entire inner part from the large part
- In the resulting boat you can plant carved from vegetables or ready-made little man, to make oars.
- Our boat is ready.
For younger students, you can make a small boat out of courgettes with a minimum of details. A ship from a vegetable marrow with details cut out on the deck, sails and a complex mast design will be easier for children of the senior classes.
When making crafts from courgettes to the exhibition, for the safety of the child, control by one of the parents or his participation is necessarily necessary, since when working with a knife a child can be cut.
