There is still powder in the flasks: the 91-year-old Elizabeth II performed a horse walk

It seems that time has simply no power over the head of the British state. Judge for yourself, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 91st birthday the other day and again became the heroine of the secular chronicle. So, on the site femalefirst.co.uk. there was her photo during a horse walk in Windsor Park. Because of the rainy weather, the rider chose for herself a waterproof raincoat and a proprietary scarf.

It is well known that the queen likes riding and her more than venerable age does not become a hindrance to an active hobby. This time the crowned person swept on his favorite miniature horse of the breed Fell Pony named Carltonlima Emma. Representatives of this breed of solipeds differ by small growth (below the usual horses) and strong physique. They easily withstand even large riders. True, this characteristic has nothing to do with the queen.

Aristocratic hobby

The fact that Her Majesty likes to spend time with horses is not a secret for anybody. Until last year's autumn it was often seen riding in the palace park. However, after a severe and protracted flu, which the royal couple suffered in December 2016, Elizabeth II was so weak that she stopped her trips on her beloved horse.

Subjects were confident that the queen would no longer return to an active and healthy hobby. So it's more pleasant to see a photo on which the 91-year-old mother of Prince Charles again rides.

It is worth noting that Elizabeth II also spent her birthday with the horses! Anyway, in the morning she was seen at the races in Newbury in the company of the daughter of Princess Anna.
