Since the resort town of Phan Thiet is located on the shores of the warm South China Sea, here from the beginning of May to the end of November, rains are pouring. Interesting places

Walking around the sights, we, perhaps, begin with a description of the coastal lighthouse "Kega", which is located just 40 kilometers from the city of Phan Thiet. This structure has a height of 35 meters, and in addition is built on a 30-meter cliff. This structure rises as much as 65 meters above sea level. The Kega lighthouse is recognized as the highest on the whole territory of southeast Asia.

To see the White Dunes, from Phan Thiet we will have to advance towards the village of Mui Ne. The sand here, of course, is not quite white, there is a fair amount of yellow in it, but this in no way spoils the picture. At the end of this excursion, guests are invited to visit the most real oasis among the sand dunes. Here, several small lakes all year round are abundantly covered with flowering lilies.

Lovers of antiquity can get a real pleasure from visiting the Cham tower, which is located on the outskirts of the resort town of Phan Thiet. These structures were erected as far back as the 9th century AD, and have survived to this day. They repeatedly underwent restoration, but the handwriting of the builders, the ancient people of the Chamas, is clearly visible. Their descendants even now come to these towers, as in temples, to pray, and they do it solely lying down.

If you travel about 40 kilometers in the direction of Mount Taku, then, rising 500 meters above sea level, you can see the largest statue of the deity of the Buddha. This monument rises to 49 meters, which symbolizes 49 steps towards the realization of being. On the slopes of this mountain is a large number of monasteries and houses of monks-hermits. Even here outstanding spiritual leaders of Buddhist culture are buried, ancient valuable statues are kept. All this wealth of world culture is very zealously guarded by monks.
