One of the leading German companies producing footwear was the company Riker, producing women's and men's shoes. The firm was founded in 1874 in the city of Tuttlingen Germany. At that time, this shoe factory belonged to Karl Zaytsev and Henry Riker. By 1905, the company's staff was more than 500 people.
