Calculation of the duration of the course of treatment and dose is highly individual, and depends not only on the age of the patient, but also on the type and severity of iron deficiency.

There are three forms of release of the drug: drops, syrup and capsules. Drops can be prescribed at any age, a drug in the form of a syrup is usually prescribed for children from 2 years old, and capsules to adults.

It is important to remember that liquid forms of the drug are capable of causing tooth staining. Therefore, the syrup or drops should always be diluted with water, and after taking the drug, it is advisable to thoroughly brush your teeth.

Actiferrin: contraindications

Allergy to actiferrin can manifest itself as a tumor, cough, rash, runny nose and other symptoms of intolerance up to anaphylactic shock.
