It can be walked on foot or cycling - for cars it is closed. There are several lakes here, so you can also take a boat trip.

But when they say "gardens of Alcudia" - they mean not only Albufera. The city itself is like a flowering garden. Orange trees and palm trees grow right here on the streets.

In Alcudia, you can not only relax, but also get a lot of useful (or simply pleasant) things.

Shopping in Alcudia is significantly different from shopping in other resorts of Mallorca - the fact that it is possible to visit not only standard tourist shops and shopping centers, but also a market that works on Tuesdays and Sundays. There is a market in Alcudia along the fortress wall of the old city.

How to get there?

Most often tourists have a question, how to get from Palma to Alcudia, because the airport is located exactly in Palma. From Palma de Mallorca can be reached by taxi or an ordinary municipal bus (in the first case the trip will cost about 35 euros, in the second - from 3 to 6). To get to the municipal bus to Alcudia, you need to get from the airport by bus number 1 to Placa Espana, the central square of the capital, go to Estacio Intermodal station and take bus number L351 (it goes to Alcudia and the port of the same name). Tickets can be bought from the driver directly on the bus.

To any of the beaches you can get from the city of Alcudia by bus number 2 - it goes along the whole coast.

Also among tourists, car or bicycle rental is very popular. The latter can be rented at a price of 6 to 14 euros per day, if you are able to travel 60 km.
