Ball-shaped plasticine - one of the most unusual varieties of plastic mass for modeling. It consists of small balls-beads, connected for plasticity with thin glue threads. Crafts made of ball clay come out very light and bright, and molding from it delivers a lot of pleasant sensations to both adults and kids, being at the same time a method of developing fine motor skills. Ball-point clay does not stick to the body, does not spoil clothes and furniture, which causes special love for moms.

How to work with ball clay?

When buying a ball of plasticine, you should pay attention to the fact that it can be of two types:

1. Non-hardening (reusable) - coarse-grained, dry to the touch, it is designed for the youngest sculptors. It is better to use it for modeling on the table surface.
2. Frozen - freezes for 3-12 hours, it is coarse (for three-dimensional figures) and fine-grained (for applications and stained-glass windows). Creating volumetric crafts from fine-grained plasticine is possible only if the base, for example, crumpled sheet of paper, is used.

Before starting the work, the clay should be stretched well, so that the balls are distributed evenly. To mold from ball plasticine, it is necessary exactly as well as from any other mass for modeling - roll balls, fill molds, apply a thin layer on the base. After the end of modeling, the container with plasticine is tightly closed.

What to make of a ball of plasticine?

Use a ball clay can be used to sculpt voluminous crafts, for applications, for decorating photo frames and vases - the possibilities of this material are almost unlimited.

For the craft we need:

• ball clay;
• Stained glass window in black color;
• an egg from a kinder-surprise;
• a jar of baby food;
• toothpicks;
• plastic eyes;
• cardboard or plastic for the substrate.

Manufacture:

1. We'll make a ladybird. To do this, put half of the egg from the kinder-surprise on the lid from baby food and clothe with red clay.
2. Give the body an oval shape and attach the other half of the egg.
3. Again, apply a layer of plasticine. The billet for ladybug is ready.
4. On the jar from under the baby food we will put green plasticine, we will connect a cow with a jar.
5. Let's design our cow: from the toothpicks we make horns and paint with the help of the stained glass contour of the head.
6. We will establish a pencil holder on a substrate, we shall decorate it in the form of a leaf.
7. Glue the eyes and draw on the back of a characteristic pattern in the form of dots.
8. We glue flowers to the pencil, which can be made from mass for molding.
