Lavatera - growing from seeds, when planting seedlings - all the subtleties of planting

Lavaetera (hathma, wild or canine rose) is a popular representative of the Malvian family. People's love for her is caused by two reasons: a bright flowering and the ability to survive in any conditions. How does the lavatera multiply, growing from seeds, when planting - these questions need to be understood by everyone who wishes to decorate the site with a wild rose.

Lavaera - growing from seeds

Khatma knowingly has the glory of plants for the lazy - it is able to safely adapt to any growing conditions. No strong wind, no prolonged drought, no freezing will not lead to the death of a wild rose. With the same success, it will grow on sandy and fertile areas, although on the latter will please with larger buds and longer flowering. Planting and care of the lavatera is carried out according to the following rules:

  1. Landing. In a warm climate lavateru it makes sense to plant directly in the flower garden. Time for this begins with a stable April warming and lasts until the end of May. To receive larger flowers and accelerate flowering can be a seedling method of growing lava from seeds, when planting it is recommended two months before the planned relocation to the flower bed.
  2. The plot. The main criterion in choosing the place where to plant the lava is good illumination. In the penumbra it will lose a good part of its decorativeness, and the shadow will completely make it stunted. The soil is preferable loose and nutritious, although its composition is not of decisive importance.
  3. Watering. Due to the powerful root system of the lava, calmly tolerates drought. Watering it should not be more than once a week (which makes it very popular with summer residents), combining water procedures with loosening the soil and weeding the weeds.

When to sow lavateru on seedlings?

The timing of sowing of lavatories for seedlings is determined by the fact that it can be moved to a flower garden at the age of one and a half to two months. If planted in open ground is planned in May, then planting seeds in seedlings should be attended in March. Earlier this time, it is not worth sowing the lavater; overgrown seedlings will stretch too much and it will be more difficult to undergo acclimatization.

Sowing the lavas on seedlings

Planting of lavatories for seedlings from seed is possible both in seedlings and in separate pots (cassettes, cups). The primer is suitable for anyone, for example, universal seedling. At the bottom of the landing tank, drainage is necessary to drain excess water: expanded clay, clay skulls. Before planting the lava on the surface of the soil, make shallow grooves and spill them with warm water. Carefully repair the seeds and build an improvised mini-greenhouse made of film or glass from above. Place the container in a warm place and after 7-10 days rejoice at the appearance of the first shoots.

Lovatera - growing seedlings

Although growing lavatories through seedlings is not used so often, the process itself does not cause particular difficulties:

  1. The first time care of the seedlings is to periodically (once a day) airing a mini-greenhouse and watering with warm water using an atomizer. When the shoots reach 5-6 cm, the shelter can be completely removed.
  2. Sprinkle crops as the soil dries.
  3. To lavatera developed harmoniously, containers with seedlings need from time to time to turn to the light source by the other side.
  4. If desired, lavatories can be fertilized with a weak solution of a universal flower fertilizer. Do it better 10-14 days after the appearance of sprouts.

When to dive to the lava?

Lumbering is necessary only for too thickened crops. It is recommended to go to separate pots in the phase of two or three real leaflets. It is better to take pots with a diameter of 5 cm and an average depth. Such a transplant will help the plant form a strong root system. If seed sowing was correct (rare), then there is no need to dive to the lavater. She is transplanted from the seedlings directly to the flower garden, using a 20x20 cm scheme.

Lavaera - landing and care in the open ground

With seedling cultivation, landing of the lavas in the open ground becomes possible already in late April or early May:

  1. The seedlings are placed in well-pitted water holes and neatly buried to the level of the root neck.
  2. A few days above the planted seedlings establish a film shelter.
  3. Further care for plantings includes watering (1-2 times a week), fertilization (every 14-20 days) and weed removal (as required).
  4. To strong wind does not damage long stems, it is recommended to tie them to supports with a height of 80-90 cm.

Sowing the lavas directly into the flower garden is as follows:

  1. On shallow and fluffy beds, shallow shallow furrows are made and spilled with hot water (boiling water).
  2. After cooling the soil into the furrows, the seeds are laid in steps of 10-15 cm and gently pricked with nutrient soil.
  3. Before reaching the sprouts 5-6 cm crop covered with a thick transparent film.
  4. After removing the shelter, the soil is loosened, slightly seeding the seedlings. Simultaneously, the first fertilizing with a solution of mineral fertilizers is carried out.
