Tourists, accustomed to rest somewhere in Thailand or at home, it will be strange to see the purest sand and clear water without debris in the city. However, in South Africa this is the norm. Many city beaches are awarded the Blue Flag, rest on them is pleasant, as almost all have a convenient infrastructure for tourists.

Beaches of Cape Town, Atlantic coast

Within this South African city, you can find about three dozen beaches. From the west side of the city is the Cape Town Riviera. Llandudno. A beautiful place, protected from all sides by the wind, carries a certain danger. There is a very strong surf and reverse flow. The place is attractive for surfers.

Noordhoek Beach. Wild beach, with the crash site of the ship "Kakapo". It was mothballed at the very beginning of the 20th century. On this beach it is customary to practice horse riding, professional surfing or just walking along the shore.

Beaches of Cape Town, Indian Ocean

The eastern coast of the city is more peaceful. The waters of the Indian Ocean are warmer, the atmosphere is much calmer. Here you can relax people of any age, including with young children. Beaches of Durban

This is the second largest city in South Africa. Along it stretched a string of beaches with bright caramel sand. It is no accident they are called the Golden Mile. The sand here is clean and light like fluff, the water is clear as a tear. The beach has a Blue Flag for its ecological cleanliness, well-developed infrastructure and an excellent rescue team.

Other beaches of South Africa

The town of Hermanus is located in the south of the country and is considered one of the oldest. There are excellent white beaches and clear water, well-developed infrastructure and many hotels on any purse. In addition, Hermanus has the status of the capital of whales. Here is the Grotto beach, where you can see them, literally, at arm's length.

Here, in the bay of Walker, a large number of baby whales are born every year. This happens from July to December. At this time, whales swim only 15 meters from the shore. To observe them, special observation platforms were built.
