Coated Stucco

At the end of all rough work on the wall finishing, a choice is made in front of a person: either a smooth surface, or a fine coat made of pebble plaster. The latter option looks much more interesting, but requires a high level of professionalism.

Decorative pebble plaster is a thin-layer mineral plaster on a cement base with modifiers. A mixture with a stone texture has the following properties:

This mixture is used for indoor and outdoor works, as well as in building facades and external thermal insulation systems.

Coated plaster - application

The mixture is applied to the wood-base plates, cement-sand surface, concrete bases, gypsum board, etc. The entire application process can be divided into three stages:

  1. Substrate preparation . From the walls you need to remove paintwork, crumbling materials, dirt, dust, grease stains. The substrate must be firm and dry. To make the surface more sticky, you need to give it a roughness. For this purpose, special primers are suitable for decorative decoration.
  2. Preparation of the solution . It is necessary to pour water in a plastic vessel and gradually pour out the mixture at the rate of 5 liters per 25 kg of the mixture. Mix with a dry mixer or drill at low speed. During the mixing, make two-minute technical pauses. The finished solution is applied to the wall for an hour.
  3. Work on application . A ready-made mortar is applied by a half-steel of steel. Form the texture after the solution has ceased to stick to the instrument. Avoid strong pressure on the layer.

Remember that decorative plaster for small stone needs a professional approach, so trust it exclusively to professionals.
