Euplefar

Gekcon aeblefar is a large lizard inhabiting the foothills of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Western India. Euplefar for his life chooses stony territory, virtually devoid of vegetation.

Spotted euplicar can reach a length of up to 30 cm, the color of its back most often yellow, gray or gray-yellow, and the sides are almost white. The entire surface of the aeblephar is strewn with dark spots, and on the tail there are two or three lilac rings. Young specimens of the aubergera have a slightly different coloring: their light body is depicted by black transverse rings.

The Turkmen euplefar, which lives in the south of Turkmenistan, became famous for being on the collection coin of the Red Book series, which was issued by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in 1993.

The content of euplicar

In live nature, euploads live about 9-10 years, but at home they can live up to 20 years. It is interesting that the euplicators can be accustomed, and eventually they will become tame and friendly to their master.

Most often spotted euplefar lives in a spacious terrarium. These animals like to become on their own tail, so a low room for them does not fit. The bottom of the terrarium is laid out with small and large flat stones in chaotic order.

Do not forget about the cleanliness of the terrarium and carefully clean out the place that the gecko has identified for itself as a toilet. Remember also that in nature, euplicans live in a fairly humid climate. To maintain the moisture necessary for moulting the euphfar, plant a plant from the family of violets in the aquarium and water, sprinkle it 2-3 times a week.

As for the feeding, for euplicans are necessary insects: crickets, cockroaches, larvae of flour darkling, zoofubusy. Eubbéfar will also not give up pieces of fruit and vegetables.
