EYD at school

Every year the number of vehicles on the roads increases, and this, in turn, increases the likelihood of road accidents. Regrettably, most of the time accidents are not traffic jams, but small roads and even pedestrian crossings. And the culprits are often pedestrians, including children. It leads to this fact that schoolchildren, unfortunately, do not know the basic rules of the movement , they do not realize the consequences of such carelessness.

It is for this purpose that in many educational institutions in Russia, detachments of the Young Inspectors of the Movement are created, the main task of which is to inform the children about the need to comply with SDA.

The history of the JUD began in 1973. It was then, on March 6, the secretariat of the Central Committee of the Komsomol, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and the Collegium of the Ministry of the Interior of the USSR, adopted a resolution on the establishment of YUID agitation brigades at the school. Only in the first year in the schools of the USSR began to work 14 thousand units of the JUD. Later, they began to hold rallies, competitions, competitions and various events between members of the units of the JUD. And today the topic of relevance has not lost. In Russian schools there are agitotryads, circles of YUID, where children in an accessible form explain the rules of behavior on the roads in order to preserve life and health.

The program of units YUID

The main difference between the YID program in primary and secondary schools from ordinary lessons is that there is no teacher and students in the generally accepted understanding. Classes are held in a creative, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, games are often used, competitions of crafts are held. The work of these circles does not violate the educational process and its integrity. In addition, learning in a circle is voluntary. It is worth noting that children of junior and middle school age like these classes very much, since during teaching different pedagogical methods are used. In the form of the game, children consolidate the knowledge gained in the classes, develop skills of correct behavior on the road, master the principles of adequate actions during unforeseen and problem situations. Over time, the child not only becomes an exemplary participant in road traffic, but also realizes the need to transfer his knowledge to peers. Education in the units of the JUD in the school forms in children an awareness of what is right social behavior, responsibility.

The practical aspect

After the dedication to YUID, which is often held in a solemn festive atmosphere with the participation of the traffic police, the child feels himself involved in an important social process. After several introductory studies aimed at studying the theoretical material (traffic rules, rights and obligations of road users, road signs and marking), children are attracted to practical classes. Students learn to ride a bicycle, observing the rules, solve the teacher's simulated practical tasks. In such situations, the child feels his own responsibility, learns to consciously assess the behavior on the road of other participants in the movement.

In addition to SDA, students organize meetings with health professionals, during which children learn the basics of medical knowledge with a view to their application in practice, if necessary. After all, it is so important to be able to help people in emergency contingencies, which, among other things, increases their own self-esteem.

Independence, adequate response, the ability to make the right decisions, activity, commitment, courtesy and attentiveness - that's a small part of what a child attending school or out-of-school circles of the JUD can get.
