Folding table made of wood with own hands

Equipment and tools:

  1. Drill or drilling machine.
  2. Electric jigsaw.
  3. Screwdriver.
  4. Bulgarian.
  5. Milling machine.
  6. Hand tools, such as chisel, hammer, gon, ruler and others.

Materials:

  1. Parquet board.
  2. Template made of hardboard.

Work on the table:

  1. To do a folding wooden table with our own hands, we begin by nailing the template with thin nails to the board. This is a template for table details.
  2. We cut out jigsaw pieces from the board.
  3. We process the workpiece with a milling cutter.
  4. There were two identical parts.
  5. For the legs of the table we take longer boards, on which we make markings of two future holes.
  6. On the part that will be the wing of the table, we plan one hole.
  7. Drill the holes according to the markings.
  8. We use a round stick for articulating the legs and the wing.

  9. To fix the axis in one of the blanks, we make a hole and hammer the chop into it.
  10. We put on the second part and cut off the extra part of the axis.
  11. The second side is collected in a similar way.
  12. As a result, the extreme legs of the table turned out.
  13. For the inner legs we prepare a longer cylinder with an opening at the end. We put on the wing first, and then the long leg. So that it does not fall out, we fix it with a chop.
  14. At the end of the board we make different holes.
  15. In work we use couplings that have external and internal threads. The outer one is attached to the board, and the screw is screwed into the inner board.
  16. We twist the couplings into the wood.
  17. We take blanks with three holes. Two of them are designed for chop, and the middle for the clutch.
  18. We screw in the middle hole connecting screw.
  19. These boards are simultaneously stiffeners.
  20. Similarly, we attach the second end of the board, connecting both parts of the table.
  21. We fasten the countertop to the chopiki.
  22. We fasten it with metal screws.
  23. As a result, from the parquet board we have a folding table made by our own hands, which occupies very little space when folded.
