In order for the hammock to withstand the weight of not only the child, but also the adult, and at the same time the edges of the boards do not split off, you should, by making holes, retreat from the edge of each board by about 2-3 cm. Using a drill you need to make holes in all the boards. Fine grind all the details of the hammock.
3. The next stage of the work is the joining of planks with each other. A strong rope you need to bind the boards like you are lacing shoes. Knot the knot very tightly, and the edges must be scorched with a match or a lighter so that they do not swell.
4. At the corners of the hammock on the extreme boards we drill two holes side by side. We pass the ropes, on which the hammock will hang, into the holes.
5. If the ropes on one side of the hammock are made longer, you will get a hammock chair, and if the ropes are made of the same length - there will be a chair-bed. Ready hammock can be covered with stain and varnish.

How to make a rocking chair for a dacha?
