Codes are four-digit combinations of numbers that correspond to a certain brand of home appliances. For each of them there are several codes and in case of failure with the first set of digits, you can try the following.
Active buttons
To configure the universal remote, we need only a few buttons from the set located on the work surface. These buttons are TV, SET (or DVB) and POWER. In addition, an important indicator when setting up the console will be a warning light, which is present on each universal remote and is not on the usual one.

- In order to configure the console manually without codes, you need to turn on, for example, a TV on one of the channels. Then, by simultaneously pressing the two TV and SET keys, we make sure that the POWER lamp lights up. Now you need the maximum speed and concentration of attention - very often, about once per second you should press the POWER button until the TV reacts to this pressing. Most often, the volume level increases. To complete the setup, you must press either TV or SET.
- Another method allows you to automatically configure the universal remote. At the same time, press SET and TV, and see if the indicator light is on. If everything is correct, you can start entering a four-digit code. If the indicator is extinguished, then the setting was successful. If it continues to burn, the same should be repeated with the following combinations of numbers.
- Quite simple and automatic search. Turn on the TV on one of the channels. After that, again press the familiar two buttons - TV and SET and the indicator light will begin to flash. After that, you should point the remote control at the TV. If a volume bar appears on the screen, then, without a hitch, you should press the MUTE button or any other, depending on the remote. If the light does not blink, the remote control is set to this unit.
