How to draw a tank to a child?

Older children, who already operate well with different forms when drawing, very often turn to their parents with requests to help them draw this or that subject, picture and so on. Well, if the parents themselves are able to draw, but for the majority of such requests of the child can be a problem. In this article, we will tell and clearly demonstrate how to draw a tank to your child, along the way by teaching this and your child.

How easy is it to draw a tank?

Teach a child to draw a tank best, using the principle of stage-by-stage drawing. At first, geometric figures are drawn on the sheet of paper, of which the tank body consists. After that they are given the necessary outline.

The small details of the future drawing are depicted already on the ready outline of the tank. If necessary, shadows are drawn and volume is added.

The child must necessarily explain that by drawing a sketch of the future hull and plotting the outlines of future details, you do not need to put pressure on the pencil. All unnecessary lines at certain stages of drawing the child will need to be erased by an eraser.

Step-by-step drawing of a tank for young children

For younger children, you do not need to draw a tank with small parts. Babies will be enough if the figure shows the main outlines and large parts of the tank.

1. Draw a square and two triangles on each side of it. One side of the triangle should be rounded. It will be the caterpillar of the tank itself.
2. The corners of the future caterpillar must be rounded.
3. Inside, you need to draw the same line, in parallel, already turned out. It should be slightly smaller than the first.
4. Inside the caterpillar of the tank we draw four wheels. All the lines that have become superfluous, are erased.
5. Above we finish the armor of the tank.
6. Even higher armor draw the dome of the tank. In height, it is larger than armor, but already it.
7. It remains to finish the tank gun and pipe. The tank is ready!

And now we complicate the picture, adding more details to it.

1. You can start, as in the previous version, from the caterpillar. Since there will be more details, the caterpillar of the tank will now consist of two triangles with a rounded edge and a rectangle. Superfluous corners can be immediately rounded. On top of the caterpillar draw armor and tower. Now the tower, we move to the side. In the end, this shape of the tank should turn out.
2. Then we draw the outline of the details: the wheels in the caterpillar, the guns and the barrels.
3. Draw the details and paint the tank itself in shades of green. You can decorate it with a red star. Drawing of a colored tank is ready!

How can I draw a modern tank?

A more complex version of the tank picture is the image of it with small details and not just in profile, but at an angle.

1. We present on the sheet of paper what our tank will look like already drawn. The location of its placement is marked with a rectangle, and the lines make the main markings, beforehand determining the angle under which the cannon of the tank and its tower will be placed. The layout should be given maximum attention and time, as the final result depends on it.
2. We note where the caterpillars of the tank and its armor will be located.
3. Draw the caterpillar wheels and the shape of the tower and armor of the tank.
4. Draw the details of the track caterpillar of the tank in the foreground and its visible rear. We proceed to the cannon of the tank and in the lines outlined earlier draw it, immediately working through all the small details.
5. Draw the details of the visible part of the second caterpillar of the tank. We study the details of the tower of the tank and draw the antennas, which are in modern models of military equipment.
6. We erase all the extra lines. The modern model of the tank is ready!

If desired, this drawing can be made more realistic. To do this, you need to add strokes to the volume by drawing all the shadows.
