Kayaking

If you like outdoor activities and are not afraid of inconveniences, you will definitely enjoy a water trip. There are a lot of places where you can go on a weekend trip as well as a longer hiking trip on kayaks. The main thing is to prepare accordingly for such an adventure, to bring home only positive emotions.

What to take in a kayak trip?

Of course, you need a kayak out of gear. Depending on the number of seats, you need it in the amount of 1 piece for 2, 3 or 4 people. We advise in advance to take care of the seats in the kayak: they are quite tough and it's not very easy to sit on them all day. Therefore, many padded on the backs of soft foam pads, and on the seat itself put all the same foam rubber or inflatable mini-cushions.

If you plan to raft for several days, then you need a tent, a carriage and a sleeping bag for spending the night. Also, for a comfortable bivouac you will need a cooking bowl, dishes (bowl, spoon, mug), a burner (if there is no possibility to build a fire).

Clothing for kayaking is needed so that you feel comfortable. Depending on the season, it can be either a warm sweater, a jacket or just a swimsuit. Ideally, you should take different clothes with you: on a sunny day, light light (do not forget the headdress), and on cloudy and rainy - warm and waterproof.

Since when rowing you will constantly contact with water, then all the bags, rucksacks, it is better to fold in large dense polyethylene bags. This will save you from unplanned wetting, since water often pours into the kayaks and splashes water from the oars.

By the way, about the oars. They mercilessly rub their hands, so be sure to take with a crash at least one pair of construction or special sports gloves.

If all of you foresee and prepare well, your kayaking will be an interesting journey to new impressions, which you, for sure, will want to repeat again.
