Over time, almost all of them dried out, and only three remained. Two of them have a round shape, and the third is rather narrow and stretched from north to south. In the center of the first lake is a small island with a forest thicket. The water in Samzhi lakes is very clean. The beauty of the corner is underscored by virgin forests and the beautifully rising peak of Paektu. Birch, larch and various flowering trees grow on the coast, which gives a special charm to Samji. Also there is a sculptural composition reminiscent of the merits of the great leader Kim Il Sung. You can stop at the lake in small houses, located in the forest, overnight.
