Lily Collins decorated the cover of Shape

The summer cover of the sports magazine Shape was adorned by a young 28-year-old actress Lily Collins. The choice in favor of Collins was absolutely not accidental: firstly, the recently released film "To the Bones", where she played one of the main roles, and secondly, the autobiographical book "Unfiltered", where she talked about health problems, and, in Thirdly, the actress recognized that behind the impeccable figure and happy smile was hard work on themselves. Now, Lily says she successfully overcame an eating disorder and completely changed her attitude to food and sports! But how? She told about this in an interview with Shape magazine.

Personal history of the actress is closely intertwined with the plot of the new film "To the Bones": the young artist is in a state of emotional and psychological devastation, her apathy and feelings of despair are reflected in everything, including nutrition. Anarexia becomes a sentence and an occasion to dramatically change your life for the better. Lily Collins for a long time hid from friends that she also has problems and suffers from an eating disorder.

I was ashamed to admit to myself and my family that I have problems. I thought that by telling about this, they would turn their back on me. Fortunately, I had enough strength to overcome my fears and "begin to live fully," to develop in my career and personally overcome my phobias. Now I'm not ashamed of this and can calmly talk about my attitude to food, sports.

What is now in the miniature actress's menu?

I really like cereals, vegetables, chicken and fish, except for red meat, I do not eat it. Few know, but my childhood passed in the English countryside, so I treat the quality of food very carefully and carefully. No chemistry, no GMOs in the products! My little weakness recently is cooking healthy and healthy baking - it's inspiring and pacifying.
Lily leads an active lifestyle

As Lili confessed, she used to keep a strict watch on her diet and in many ways she limited herself, especially with regard to desserts:

Tight restrictions of sweet in the past, now I am happy to devote time to donuts, cakes and other pastries. Previously, I was mistaken and believed that a healthy lifestyle is associated only with the ideal figure, now the priority in obtaining strength and nutrients from the products, and, of course, feeling healthy! I'm happy with the way I look at the moment, I lead an active lifestyle, eat well and are very happy. The sense of blame for missing training or eating an extra portion is far in the past.
